June 30th will be our last day at our current location. We have bought a new office building that we will be moving to in Vinton. Our new office address and mailing address will be:

While the new office will not be ready for a few more months, you can begin mailing mail there now as this will be our official mailing address effective June 30th.
Our new office location will not be ready for a few months. We still have to remodel the interior as well as build a parking lot and widen the street entrance. We are working with the Town of Vinton on figuring out all of these code issues for changing the use of a building from residential to commercial.
Sadly our landlord did not renew our lease, even though they could have easily renewed and helped us out with the predicament of not having a space for our employees to work or for our clients to come and meet with us. They have stated that it is their policy to help small businesses get started and since July 1 will be the completion of our third year renting in this coworking space, they will not renew our lease or help us with the gap in time from being made to leave our current space and the new office space being ready. We were the first tenants to ever get to the three year mark, and so this is the first time they are enforcing this 3-year rule, which we were under the impression was not such an inflexible rule, until now.
We are writing this to you to explain our situation so that you can understand how WE WILL CONTINUE TO PUT OUR CLIENT’S INTERESTS FIRST AND TAKE CARE OF OUR CLIENTS, even in difficult times and when there are situations outside of our control.
Luckily Daniel is a real estate investor and has a space that just became available for our staff to be able to work in and still be able to come to work every day, report for team meetings, work on financial plans and taxes, and be there to support our clients. The only downside to this property is that it does not have a meeting space for clients. Therefore this temporary working space will be at an undisclosed location only where our staff can report to work every day.
If you would like to meet with us during this time, simply reach out to us and we can make arrangements to meet with you whether that be at your home, a coffee shop, the library, or another rented space for meetings. We are happy to meet with you and we will be working diligently to build out the new office space so that we can meet with you there soon. In the meantime, please check out the photos of the current renovations at the new space in Vinton. We will be having an open house that we will be sure to invite you to come and tour the new space!
Our new office will be renovated for ADA accessibility, convenience, and style. The house was built in 1948 and we are using some finishes and fixtures from that time period (such as tile halfway up the wall in the bathrooms), as well as some contemporary touches that signal a nod to the history of Vinton and the industrialism of the year 1948 while also updating the space with all of the technological and practical fixtures of today. We will be using luxury finishes and fixtures such as granite countertops, large TV screens, a full security system with monitoring, an espresso machine, industrial style pipe shelving, a large wooden conference table, wall sconces, gold finishes, backsplashes, luxury bathroom vanities, and more. We will also be using our logo colors of blue and green as templates and themes that will be repeated in the design in various stages. For instance, you will notice that the exterior of the building has already been painted a navy blue color. There will be green subway tiles in one of the bathrooms. Etc.
The new office space will boast 2 conference rooms, two full offices, a third office that also serves as a file room, a receptionist desk and waiting area, 2 bathrooms, and a finished attic that can also be used as a work space. It also has a full basement which can later be renovated and it also has rough plumbing to add a third bathroom in as well. Finally, it has a garage that can be renovated and yard equipment stored and/or a garage apartment installed. The large bank behind the building is also owned by us. When walking to the top of the bank you will see the Vinton Library and downtown Vinton right on the other side and you will turn around and see the Mill Mountain Star in the distance above the new office building.
Situated on the bustling E Virginia Ave, it will be a prominent building with a large sign out front which passersby will notice right before they turn right on Pollard street to go to downtown Vinton. The new office is actually within walking distance from downtown Vinton.
Also, we hired a new employee! You will be seeing more information soon about the addition to our team! Our assets under management have continued to grow as well as our number of financial plans and tax returns filed.
